I just wanted to post a quick note about this AMAZING video I just found on youtube that is basically the EXACT surgery that I will be having. The difference before and after is incredible.

You found a really good presentation of an open bite surgery. Actually, I'll be having this type of surgery next month. Though, my brilliant dentist, Rock Hill based, have already discussed about the whole procedure, this video surely helped in visualizing the effects on my teeth. I can't wait to have the surgery, flash my new dashing smile and make an appointment with my dentist. Tega Cay City is truly an amazing place for having skilled professionals like him.

ReplyDeleteHello. My daughter has an open bite. She can only eat with her back teeth. She has had braces for 3 years with a tongue guard. The braces straightened her teeth, however, the open bite has not disappeared. The orthodontist recommended jaw surgery. My daugher is 14y.o. and I am concerned with putting my daughter under the knife. What was the recovery like? How long was it? Are you still happy with the results and would you still recommend the surgery? Did you experience any complications?
